Back in 2017, Pop Rap/ Hip-Hop artist Darren Rita began releasing music over on SoundCloud. After releasing two full amateur projects for free, he began taking the craft much more seriously. This led to him developing his style of semi-conscience nerdcore pop rap, with the releases of his fan favorite singles Snap and Funny. in 2018 and 2019. These singles built a buzz up around his steadily growing fan base and he capitalized off the momentum by releasing his first full project across all platforms in August of 2019, titled Hysteria. In 2020, he released 20 total tracks which included his fourth full project, Haze. To end the year he ended up releasing a single a week for nine consecutive weeks, which included fan favorites like Youtthetype and Rain on Tuesday.

Inspired by artists like Childish GambinoDrakeMike Posner, and many others, Darren has taken many musical endeavors into a variety of different sounds. His versatility as an artist makes it easy to listen to punk rock inspired joints like Afraid of Dying Alone, fresh neo soul songs like Best Me, or inspiring modern hip-hop tunes like 110, in one sitting without feeling out of place.

Through his consistency he has been able to push his music to new heights. Whether it's through his music, podcast, or other media ventures, he has consistently been improving with each release and has had a prominent message about the importance of being your true self.

While music is a primary focus of Darren Rita’s, he is also the CEO of DMR Media Corp. which oversees the development of both his own media endeavors as well as other artists and small businesses. One major IP that the company is in charge of is the D-Talks podcast, which is hosted by Darren Rita himself. Darren Rita’s passion for media, storytelling, and entrepreneurship has led him to be in the position he is in today.
